FOCUS

Inclusion, Diversity & Digital Participation

METHOD

Barrier-to-Pathway Method

Project Overview

Create2Include directly addresses the horizontal priority of inclusion and diversity by embedding the European Union values of equality, democracy, human dignity and solidarity into a structured youth work methodology.

Across Europe, NEETs, migrants, rural youth and young people with disabilities remain underrepresented in decision-making and excluded from opportunities that foster growth and engagement.

The project equips youth workers with transferable tools that dismantle structural and personal barriers and guide young people along personalised participation pathways.

Why Create2Include?

The motivation comes from a decade of direct experience working with disadvantaged young people and lessons learned from previous Erasmus+ inclusion work.

Previous activities increased confidence and participation, but their impact faded after the project ended because there was no structured, transferable model to sustain progress.

Create2Include closes this gap by transforming one-time success into a long-term inclusion framework that can be scaled across Europe.

Barrier-to-Pathway Method

At the heart of the project is BPM, a structured approach that identifies personal and structural barriers and converts them into personalised participation pathways. Digital exclusion becomes digital belonging, while social isolation becomes collaboration and visibility.

Identify

Recognise exclusion, isolation, digital inequality, language barriers and lack of access.

Transform
